The Xbox One has reached another milestone, this time in the UK with reports revealing that the current-gen console from Microsoft has now sold over one million units. Xbox UK’s marketing director Harvey Eagle has spoke on the feat saying;
“We’re seeing fantastic momentum with Xbox One having sold almost 10 million units to retailers worldwide. This momentum is reflected in the UK, particularly over the last three weeks, which is extremely encouraging as we approach the Christmas shopping period.”
This shouldn’t come as a surprise as the Xbox One has seen a massive improvement in units sold, even outselling Sony’s PS4 for the past three weeks. We would put this down to new games such as ‘Halo: The Master Chief Collection’ and ‘Forza Horizon 2’ releasing, with anticipation for 2015 releases such as ‘Fable Legends’ and ‘Halo 5: Guardians’.
